ISOPharm Inc. has designed the Smoke Escape rescue device with a view to safeguarding public health.
The Smoke Escape filtering escape hood is designed for short term use to escape from smoke. The emergency device has been tested and certified to protect the wearer from injury and illness due to smoke inhalation in non industrial environments.
The irritating and toxic effects of dense smoke can strongly obscure vision and severely restrict breathing. Escape from a smoke filled environment without a rescue device becomes physically intolerable and less likely.
The escape device is light enough to carry in a purse or jacket pocket and is designed to facilitate correct positioning on the wearer. The Smoke Escape device provides the wearer useful eye and respiratory protection during a smoke emergency and is immediately available for use, and affordable.
The manufacturer ISOPharm Inc. 1120 Victoria Street North Suite 203, Kitchener Ontario, Canada N2B 3T2, declares that the Smoke Escape version 1, is in conformity with the provisions of the Council Directive 89/686/EEC and the EC Certificate DK 0200 PPE 2260 version 1 and is subject to the procedure in article 11 A of Directive 89/686/EEC under supervision of the notified body 0200.
