How To Use

Before donning the escape hood, remove all jewelry, articles of clothing from around the head and neck as these items may interfere with proper use of the escape hood.

Remove the escape hood from packaging by tearing open the outer bag along the marked tear notch using both hands, and then remove the inner bag and tear open the inner bag as well.

Unfold the hood carefully and use both hands to open the hood including the elastic cord and cord lock.

Place the open end of the hood over the entire head, as well as eye glasses.

Position the filter near the nose and mouth and carefully position the hood so that the filter does not obscure your vision.

Create a firm seal around the neck using the elastic cord and cord lock, by holding the end of the elastic cord with one hand, while carefully drawing the lock towards the neck with the other hand, while pressing down on the lock release button. Create a seal that is firm and snug around the neck.
